This online consultation group is primarily for licensed Filipino/a/x mental health professionals. All therapy modalities and clinical backgrounds are welcome.

About the Kasamahan Consultation Group
This was Kasamahan's first event and was started by nonprofit President, Cristina in 2021 with Illinois based licensed therapists. Since Kasamahan's nonprofit status was established in 2023, Vice President, Edward took on the role of facilitator and director of the group. In 2024, Secretary, Eliza based in Texas and referred by Edward to Kasamahan, supported Filipino/a/x mental health professionals licensed in other states and even country to participate.

This remains an open consultation group aligned with our nonprofit mission. Edward provides structure for new, returning, and consistent members.
During the February 2026 meeting, Edward announced a structural change with pre-licensed and unlicensed mhps participating upon his review in consideration of those participating in the Mentorship Program. He supports each licensed mhp to participate based on their clinical judgment with their license and ethical standards with their clients.
