Consultation Group Story:

This was Kasamahan's first event and was started by nonprofit President, Cristina in 2021 with Illinois based therapists. Since Kasamahan's nonprofit status was established in 2023, Vice President, Edward took on the role of facilitator. In 2024, Secretary, Eliza referred by Edward to Kasamahan expanded our online presence which supported licensed Filipino/a/x mental health professionals located in different places such as California, Texas, New York, Ontario, Canada and more to participate. Since this remains an open consultation group aligned with our nonprofit mission, Edward provides structure to support safety for licensed Filipino/a/x mental health professionals to consult for their growth as clinicians and for the wellbeing of their clients. This event is only for licensed clinicians or those under clinical supervision of a fully licensed clinical supervisor. You may contact Edward directly if you have any questions or concerns at dr.edwardfajardo@gmail.com
